The South Australian Government is a committed supporter of science and innovation, and we recognise the fundamental and transformational role these play in the advancement of our economy and society.

The Science & Innovation Directorate is responsible for promoting the importance of innovation, science & technology to South Australia’s economic, environmental and social future. We promote and support science & innovation developments within government, academia, industry, and community sectors. We also ensure that leading strategic policy is developed in these sectors for economical and social benefit to the State. We achieve this through involvement in activities including STI¹⁰ and Constellation SA.
