National Science Week

The national celebration of Science Week aims to raise community awareness through a broad program of activities and events that explore the amazing world of science, and provide everyone with opportunities to discover how science impacts everyday life.

The South Australian Government has actively supported National Science Week in South Australia for the past four years.  In 2008 it created more strategic alliances between National Science Week and other activities such as the South Australian Science Excellence Awards and the Tall Poppy Campaign, to raise the profile and heighten the importance of science and research in South Australia.
