ConstellationSA Key Elements

Within the research community, Constellation SA introduces a framework that refines the scope of STI¹⁰ through the introduction of three key elements:

1. Strategic Research Capabilities – expertise comprising high quality research infrastructure and research teams within publicly-funded research organisations.
2. Alliances and supporting Clusters – representing the State Government’s priority sectors (Alliances) and underpinning research concentrations (Clusters) to strengthen collaboration within the research community and improve the uptake of knowledge by end-users (ie. businesses, industry, community and government).
3. Precincts – focal points for concentrating research activity and infrastructure and translating research into innovation.
