Constellation SA is the framework for government investment in public sector research. It helps connect industry and researchers through joint location/clustering of physical assets and facilities (precincts) and collaborative networks of industry/health/community organisations and researchers (alliances/clusters).
Constellation SA will not be all things to all people. The framework aims to develop industry and research based networks of representative organisations which collectively provide the means to undertake quality research in South Australia.
The Constellation SA concept was first outlined in the science, technology and innovation strategy STI10, and is now the State Government’s main instrument for meeting those targets of South Australia’s Strategic Plan that rely on research-driven innovation.
